PLEASING ENTERTAINER !

Is it enough 6 days 7 nights to survive a (Beaver) plane crash on a remote island, convert Beaver to hydro plane, learn to fly and land it, out smart a boat full of pirates with gun ship on board, no not yet, biggest hurdle of all change career, change home, change sweet heart in just 6 days 7 nights.

Ivan Reitman Director of Ghostbusters, Twins directed this movie SIX DAYS SEVEN NIGHTS, my premiere attraction for this movie is Harrison Ford(Quinn Harris) a pilot cum owner of Beaver running his own charter service for tourists visiting island of Macatea, a lush tempting tropical holiday place, where he has a shack, he gave up the tense life style for a simple, carefree life doing what the heart desires.

David Schwimmer (Frank Martin) is a romantic guy loves Robin Monroe (Anne Heche) Frank's plan is to fly Robin to Macatea and propose her to wear something for him, that is the ring. They make travel plans from New York, Robin is a sub editor there in a style magazine, Frank and Robin arrive at the main Airport, Robin goes searching for their charter plane, She finds Quinn with oil smeared clothes and face working under Beaver plane, with the engine dripping oil, Frank and Robin look at the condition of the plane and the pilot with disbelieving eyes. Schedule freaks meets the care frees. Quinn has a friend flying with him Angelica (Jacqueline Obradors).

At the prompting to hurry up, pilot changes on the tarmac itself into clean clothes and asks the customers to hop in the plane, way they go to Macatea. I must tell you, I am a fan of Harrison Ford, so my review will be tilted in his favor, how can anyone be impartial with Harrison Ford, I like his acting and his attitude, this film has difference of opinion between Robin and Quinn as the main plot of the movie. The sub plot is the story.

The story has Robin and Quinn shredding to pieces each other, we are smiling, chuckling and happy watching the tension between them. From start to finish there is a struggle between these 2 for the game of one-up manship, they are the lead pair, Anne Heche and Harrison Ford had sparks all over them, the fun is around them, the jokes are around them, the entertainment is around them all thru this film. We take the ride along them over beautiful islands, peacock hunting, beaches, rains, storms, forests, seas and pirates. Everything is done well with taste, this film is one of those where NEGATIVITY was used to generate POSITIVITY in the viewers.

Scenery is done well in the film, beaches are done well, sun is done well, camera has done well, the storm is done well, the situations are done well, the dialogues are done well, the music is done well and above all the actors have done well.

The disdain and the strain between Quinn and Robin makes them come out like real people in front of our eyes, I know many folks who cannot stand each other, we live in a society where disagreement is the foundation of our society, whatever these 2 are doing crash landing, converting their Beaver into hydro plane or just plain running from the pirates in their Dingy, they are in total complete disagreement with each other, like we the viewers are trapped in our lives containers, so we are with them in their tension.

The Eyes of these 2 admire each other but their tongues lack the words to express their admiration, after all their tongues are a extension of their natures, this film is made very well, I must say, the admiring eyes and biting tongues are a ingenious way of film making explored in it, it is to be seen to be believed, that is way I can call this film a piece of Art.

Meanwhile Frank on Macatea is cut in to be seen enjoying Angelica dancing in the resort, that is her job, she is a dancer, they both become friends and try to fill up the gaps left by their 2 friends who left for Tahiti and gone missing without a trace, the search parties abandon the search. Everybody thinks they are dead, Frank gives in to the philosophy of Angelica who thinks people have sex after every funeral. Our breathing is life, until breathing stops we don’t stop experimenting with joys of life, I believe broken hearts should stop weeping start living. Broken or whole every heart beats. Long live the beating of our hearts !!!

My heart was happy all duration of this film, I enjoyed seeing younger girl falling for a older guy and it was done well, as for any guy like me in this world, younger girls are more than welcome, so does Harrison Ford welcomes the vision of Anne Heche in his life. He is too happy to stop himself from falling for Robin. Chemistry between the 2 was touching, it leaped from the screen to enter me when they kissed, watching it was almost like the pronouncement of just verdict by a honorable Judge. Justice gives joy.

I have spared revealing many aspects of this film for the would be viewer, I will end this review with the saying of Harrison Ford : Tourist come here to find ROMANCE, they will not find it if they don’t have it in themselves ???!!!@@@##!!!!!!. How true.

Yo people romance livens up a life !.
